Site Clinical Manager - Patient Services
Western Health

Definition of Work: The Site Clinical Manager is the on-site manager responsible and accountable for the overall direction and coordination of clinical and human resource activities at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre, the Protective Care Residences and Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre during evenings, nights, statutory holidays, and weekends. He/she will manage patient flow, monitor appropriateness of admission and patient placement, and coordinate human resource activities to ensure the appropriate resources are available to meet patient care requirements. As well, he/she will activate emergency response as necessary.

Required Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree from a health related discipline and be eligible for registration with a provincial health care related regulatory body. Five years' experience in the related field is also required. Previous management experience is considered an asset. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, critical thinking, effective problem solving, decision making, and communication skills. A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this opportunity.

1600-2400, 2400-0800, 0800-2000, 2000-0800 Hours
