Food Operations Supervisor
Western Zone - Corner Brook, NL

Western Health currently requires Food Operations Supervisors on a Casual Call-in basis. Reporting to the Regional Manager of Nutrition Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of patient/resident services and retail food services. The successful applicant will organize and plan staffing for food service operations ensuring that all work schedules adhere to departmental policies and the CUPE collective agreement.

Required Qualifications: Completion of a recognized program in Food Service Supervision or graduation from an approved university with a Bachelor of Science with major course work in Food and/or Nutrition is required. Previous management experience working in a unionized environment as well as knowledge of computers would be an asset. This challenging opportunity also requires excellent communication, organization and planning skills. The successful applicant must be prepared to pursue further education and/or to travel if necessary.
If there is no suitable candidate with the required qualifications other levels of experience and training may be considered for this position.

**A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
Hours of Work: 0530-1330, 1200-2000, 0600-1400, 0630-1830 and 0700-1900 hours.
Salary Scale: $47,988.00 to $62,384.00 per Annum.
