Temporary Full-time Until 1 October 2024, With Possibility of Extension
Social Worker I - Community Support
Location to be Determined

DUTIES: This position provides social work services including assessment, case management, counseling, health promotion, client advocacy, community development and clinical expertise in the area of community support. This position will support adult protection and work associated with completion of interdisciplinary capacity assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for this position should have knowledge of the regional community support system, programming and delivery methods. Applicants must demonstrate sound analytical, organizational, oral communication and written communication skills. Candidates must display independence, initiative and an ability to work with others. This knowledge and ability must be obtained through the possession of a Bachelor of Social Work degree and experience in the field of community support. Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Social Workers.

A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.

NOTE: Use of a private vehicle is a condition of employment.

Hours of Work: 75 Hours per pay period
0830-1630 Hours; Monday to Friday and weekends.
Salary Scale: $37.20 to $41.63 per Hour
