Job Description

Temporary Full-time until 31 January 2025, with possible extension
Medical Laboratory Technologist I
Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology diploma program or a Medical Laboratory Science degree program is required. Certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) as a General MLT or Subject MLT (in the applicable discipline) is also required. Proof of current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals is required.

Please Note: A bursary may be available for this position.
$5,000 for a one (1) year return in service agreement
$10,000 for a two (2) year return in service agreement
Relocation expenses can be provided up to $3,000

Hours of Work: 70 Hours per pay period
0800-1600, 0900-1700, 1000-1800, 0700-1500, 1600-2400, 2400-0800 Hours; Rotation evenings and weekends on call
