Job Description

Temporary Full-time Until 01 October 2024, With Possibility of Extension
Operating Room Technician/Licensed Practical Nurse I - Float
Western Memorial Regional Hospital

Required Qualifications: Completion of high school and current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador are required. Successful completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician/Perioperative Licensed Practical Nurse education program, or a willingness to complete within one year of appointment. Current Operating Room experience within the last five years is required. Basic Cardiac Life Support is also required. A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is a requirement for this position.

Hours of Work: 75 Hours per pay period
0700-1500, 0730-1530, 0800-1600, 0900-1700 Hours;
On-call support after regular hours and on weekends
Salary Scale: $26.54 to $29.48 per Hour
